Due to its above-average alkaloid content, this Kratom strain is quite effective in relieving pain.

Moderate stimulating effect
It does not provide great stimulation compared to other strains. However, there is still a noticeable increase in concentration and visual perception after taking it.

Origins of Gold Maeng Da Kratom

The Gold Kratom strain is made from a mix of White and Green strains of mitragynaspeciosa. Although it is made of the same strains as the Yellow Kratom, the White and Green strains that make up the Gold strain undergoes a different drying process.

To create the strain, the leaves have its stems and veins removed. These are left under the sun to dry. The leaves are wetted and re-wetted before being completely dry to prolong the drying process.

The term “maeng da” is used by Thai vendors to identify more potent strains of Kratom. It literally means “pimp grade” in English.  Any strain could use “maeng da” to indicate its high potency.
